About Benjamin Noble

Benjamin Noble (UK) initially trained as an actor, graduating from London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in 2007. He has since appeared on film in ‘The Duchess’ alongside Kiera Knightley, on stage in ‘Our Country’s Good’ at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, ‘Hard Talk’ at Hampstead theatre, and ‘For King and Country’ in a national tour.

After submitting his first full-length play, Benjamin was accepted onto the Royal Court Theatre’s Young Writers Programme; named ‘the most important theatre in Europe’ by the New York Times. After impressing, he was subsequently invited to join their renowned Studio Writers Group. With a penchant for visually stimulating and innovative story telling, he made the natural progression into film. His first short screenplay ‘The Station Master’ was produced by GentleCap Films, and screened at Palm Springs International Shortfest, the Heartland Film Festival, and San Diego Int Film Festival, amongst others, and picked up an ‘Award of Excellence’ at the Los Angeles Movie Awards 2013.

His second short film ‘The Outside In’ premiered as an Official Selection at Palm Springs International Film Festival 2014, and was chosen as an ‘Audience Favourite’ and selected as ‘Best in Fest’. It was also nominated as ´Best British Short` at Leeds Int Film Festival 2014, and screened at the London Short film Festival and San Jose Film Festival. A third commissioned short film ‘Among Sweet Flowers and Shades’ is currently in post-production.

An original feature film ‘The Scent of Dogs’ with award winning director Andy Taylor Smith is scheduled to shoot early next year.
