Nassim Soleimanpour is a multi disciplinary artist born in December 1981 in Tehran, Iran. He is the Artistic Director of Shiraz Theatre Company (STC). He has his BA in Set Design, Performing Arts at University of Tehran. As a writer, he has won prestigious theatre awards such as Edinburgh Arches Award and Toronto SummerWorks and Guardian Best Topic Award. Besides, he has been nominated for other awards such as Brighton Fringe and Total Theatre Award. He taught computer aided set design at University of Tehran, and his plays have been performed in different cities and countries such as: New York, Toronto, Edinburgh, Bytom etc. He is the Director of International Affairs for Fadjr Theater Festival which is the most important theatre happening in Iran.
